The Story so Far

Founded in 2007 by Michael Earl and housed in two conjoined 102-year-old warehouses, The Earl incorporates its founder’s world travels into an inclusive environment with the hopes of attracting artists and creators to a culture space where they can blossom.

The venue has history as a 1930s speakeasy, known as the Horseshoe Club. Michael Earl tapped into this creative, outsider energy to create a singular and welcoming environment.

Now, with two decades of experience, our venue has hosted countless art exhibitions and performances, launching the careers of many to a worldwide stage.

All forms of creative expression are embraced at The Earl.
